Measured test data

• Cycle life: Under a continuous open/close bench test at 25°C with a 3 m straight arm and no load, the operator completed 5,000,000 MCBF cycles, against the 3,000,000-cycle industry benchmark for standard AC boom barriers.
• Opening time: Measured at 25°C with a 90° travel and a 6 m straight arm, the brushless motor reaches full open in 6.0 s; the same lane with a 3 m arm opens in 1.5 s, versus 8–10 s for conventional hydraulic units.
• Duty cycle: In a 24-hour continuous test at 20 cycles/minute, the unit sustained 100% duty without thermal derating, while a standard brushed-motor barrier requires a 30% rest cycle over the same period.
• Wind resistance: With a 6 m arm fitted, the barrier held position in a wind tunnel test at Level 12 (32.7–36.9 m/s), against the Level 8 (17.2–20.7 m/s) rating typical of standard-duty barriers.
• Protection and temperature: Verified at IP54 ingress protection and −30°C to +70°C operating range in a climatic chamber, versus the IP44 / 0–55°C range of indoor-rated alternatives.
